Our Economics major examines the “why” behind the numbers, providing you with a thorough grasp of how people make decisions and what those decisions might mean for society today and in the future.

LSAT

Recent studies show that Economics is one of the best majors to prepare for the LSAT, the Law School Admission Test. Out of 29 majors, the Economics major tied for second (with Philosophy/Theology), trailing only Math/Physics.

Best Major

Kiplinger’s 2016-17 list of Best College Majors for Your Career lists Finance & Economics as the 7^th best college major out of 215, noting the relatively high starting salary and projected 10-year growth in job openings of 15.5%.
